I have tried this with a food processor and a blender (both not the best to begin with), but now I’m convinced I need a new power-tool for my kitchen! ;) emersion blender here I come!!
Also one day I got a little excited and finished the mashed cauli before our steaks were ready. So I put it in a casserole dish and sprinkled a little parmesan on top. Popped it in the oven to keep it warm and while the steaks were resting I popped it under the broiler and crunched up the cheese.
