Sugar Free Strawberry Limeade

Try this simple beverage recipe for a light and refreshing Strawberry Lemonade without the calories, sugar and guilt! This is a very light sweetness and can be altered using a natural sweetener like Truvia® but skip if you are tired for the sweet flavors!

This recipe is approved for the Bariatric Liquid Diet but always be sure to refer to your programs diet guidelines and follow your surgeons recommendations.

Ingredients

  • juice of half a lime
  • 1 1/2 cups cold water
  • 1/2 tsp strawberry extract
  • 6 ice cubes
  • *natural sweetener as desired

Instructions

  • Combine lime juice, water and strawberry extract. Add ice cubes and serve. Sweeten with calorie free sweetener of choice if desired.
