Sliced Steak with Sauteed Mushrooms
Sliced Steak with Sauteed Mushrooms
I love sautéed mushrooms. So much so, when I am making something with mushrooms…I usually double the portion since they cook down so much! Note: I posted this recipe with the traditional amount of mushrooms, but personally doubled it.
Sautéed mushrooms + grilled flank steak is a friend of mine. I sliced the meat thin to help with small bites and slower eating. If you’ve had weight loss surgery, remember you will fill up much faster on steak than on other, less dense meats. Pay extra close attention to your bite sizes and your speed. Stop at the first sign of fullness. Oh, and enjoy!
