Lemon Vinaigrette Dressing
Lemon Vinaigrette Dressing
Weight Loss Surgery patients can never have enough options when it comes to flavor blends. The diet can get boring focusing on lean protein and vegetables without some KICK, some SPICE, some EXCITEMENT!
Lemon may not sound like the most exciting flavor in the world…but oh my goodness…can it change EVERYTHING in a meal.
I love squirting lemon on my green beans.
One of my favorite weeknight meals is this shrimp scampi with zoodles because of the fresh lemon flavor.
Lemon rosemary chicken, yes please.
Even a lemon cream protein shake can be a game changer if you are in the phase of protein shakes still!
I love this lemon vinaigrette because it is EASY to make, the flavors are fresh and fantastic, and a very small amount goes a long way. Add it to anything from a spinach salad to some roasted vegetables!!

- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, pressed or minced
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
Instructions

- Serve over fresh spinach and veggies for a fresh flavored side salad.
Made this dressing. Excellent! Next time I will make it a day before and let my fresh vegetables “rest” in the dressing. I will add the pasta penne to the vegetables about an hour before supper.. I also put in 1 tablespoon parmesean. Yummy
Thanks, Darlie
