Instant Pot Unboxing Video

I finally did it!

I bought an Instant Pot.

I’ve had patients telling me for years how much they love their pressure cooker. I always brushed it off that it was great for them but that I still loved created dinner in a pan or the oven. I also love my slow cooker and I have this amazing Deep Covered Baker from Pampered Chef that I can microwave my meats in and they cook perfectly.

Did I really need a new kitchen appliance?

And would I be limiting my own website followers because not everyone would have this new device?

I continued to brush it off.

Then I heard something on the radio. “The Instant Pot is the #1 Christmas gift item of 2017.”

To which I thought, “well crap. Someone probably should be making bariatric surgery friendly recipes with an Instant Pot then!”

I posted on Facebook asking who was getting an Instant Pot and the comments and cheers rolled in.

So there you have it. I’m officially an Instant Pot consumer! I made a video of my first opening of the Instant Pot Duo, 6 Quarts and (at the time of this post) I’ve made Dijon Chicken Thighs, Cowboy Stew and Spinach and Feta Turkey Meatloaf. Of which my favorite was definitely the stew!
