Caesars Burger – Low Carb WLS Recipe

Tonight is the second time I have made these burgers in the past month. For me to repeat a meal…well, that’s sayin’ sumthin. Very quick to put together (I got home form work at 5:45 and was eating by 6:20pm!) and yet with so much creativity in the flavor.
Just like any burger I create- I use whatever lean ground meat is on sale. I used beef tonight but had grilled chicken the last time. Mmm mmm. I’m ready to eat it all over again!
Note: this meal is gluten free, but as always review the ingredient list on your products (in this case on the Caesar Dressing & Grated/Mozzarella Cheeses) if you have a wheat allergy as it can depend upon the brand. Most grocery stores offer a gluten free section for products.
Caesars Burger - Low Carb WLS Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 cloves chopped garlic (or 1 tsp)
- 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded 2% mozzarella cheese, divided
- 2 tbsp light Caesar dressing, divided
Instructions
- Heat grill to medium high heat.
- Combine ground beef, parmesan cheese, garlic, 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese and 1 tbsp light caesar dressing. Form 4 patties.
- Grill about 12 minutes per side- or until desired doneness. Top with 1/4 tbsp light Caesar on each patty and divided shredded mozzarella cheese.
