Italian Sausage Turkey Burger – Bariatric Recipes
Italian Sausage Turkey Burger – Bariatric Recipes
This recipe is a great twist on a turkey burger with very little effort. The key is to buy Italian Turkey Sausage (uncooked) and use it to create the patties. I buy mine at Aldi when they are not yet cooked, but they are in casing. I can cut the casing off and remove the ground turkey meat.
Add the usual egg and grated parmesan cheese but that’s all you need! So much flavor already lives in the turkey sausage it’s not necessary to add more. That means just three ingredients for your burger!!

These burgers sound wonderful and I can hardly wait to try them! Yum!
Can they be broiled in the oven or on a Foreman grill? I don’t have a large grill to use but I do have a meat thermometer.
Thank you for sharing! ~Vicki
Yes absolutely! You can make them either way, you won’t have any trouble at all! :)
