How do I save this to my baritastic recipes. New and having a hard time navigating the site thanks
@lynheff Because Baritastic is a separate app some recipes will have to be added on your side. Several FoodCoachMe recipes are in their library so you can start by going to the app, add food and then recipes and search the “Baritastic Recipes” to see if it’s already in their library. If not, you’ll have to add new and type in the ingredients. Once you’ve done that once, you won’t have to do that again and it’ll save it to your recipes.
I hope that helps! This page has the code to connect with me on Baritastic and has a video on how to use their app. If you haven’t already, this is the welcome page for new members that also helps with some places to get started.
Don’t hesitate to let me know how else I can help you get acclimated around the site. You can email me at steph@foodcoach.me
hI Steph!
I am in third week of program and following the full meal plans. So far, so good. Also learning the baritastic app on cell phone.
Am I understanding this program right?
To obtain meal plans, look them over and choose one for the week. I was looking for a new one each week but see that the dates on them are 20s and 1021 years. For example, I looked for July 11 for this next week and didn’t find it. Soooo, I just cross off the date (say I choose June 2021, #13) and use that.
One meal plan was marked ‘SUMMER FULL MENU” on the website, but when I opened it, it was “SUMMER DINNERS”. I see they can be used, but the quantities for breakfast, for example are not on that sheet. That particiul plan was June 2021 and marked Pesto Shrimp and Caesar Burgers.
From past work elsewhere I know that 1 pound cooked chicken diminishes in the cooking. My doctor requires 100 grams protein a day (1200 calorie/day) so I am real sensitive to that. So I usually cook a little more that the 1 pound. We often buy in bulk anyway and I weigh out the amount after cooking. Does that make sense?
A couple of questions (well, 3!):
#1. Any ideas to increase protein? I am trying a milkshake of ” 30g protein and total carb 5″ mid morning. (premier protein, sold at Walmart). I think that fits your hint to look for shakes with at least equal or less carbs than protein! Such a good hint!
#2 I have constipation when I eat so much protein like that – in past and now. Any hints?
#3. If I connect you to the Barista App, does that mean that you would look at it sometimes? How would you interact with me on that?
I am feeling hopeful finding your web-site. I am still learning the Barista App as well. I have dropped about 10 pounds. I thank you for the attention you give to your clients. Sorry for all these detailed quesions! I will pay for another month on July 23.
Thank you so much.
